CARDBOARD REGATTA

Composed to recognize and musically represent "America''s Cardboard Cup Regatta," this upbeat composition features 5/8, 6/8, and 2/4 time. The 2+3 rhythmic feel in 5/8 time creates the bobbing sensation of the boats on the water as they try to reach the finish line in record time. Written in C Major, all parts except the string bass remain completely in 1st position.
