Folk music is an expression of the life of the people, passed down through the generations by oral tradition. This fantasy interweaves familiar songs like The Blue-Tail Fly and Barbara Allen with lesser known songs and tells a musical story of our folk history. Folk music is part of our heritage, our history, and our young people need to learn traditional folk songs so they are able to pass them on to the next generation. Excellent!
