American Horizons (Two Shaker Tunes)

A brilliant pairing of two significant tunes from Shaker history. Monday’s creative arrangement opens with In Yonder Valley, presented in D Major and utilizes open harmonies and harmonics. The gorgeous melody builds throughout then leads to Square Order Shuffle, a fun jig in 6/8 time. All members of the orchestra will have a blast with this work and will want to play it again and again!
