Composed by Fred K. Huffer in 1918, this heart stirring march is the composer's best known work and was dedicated to Gen. "Black Jack" Pershing, American Forces Commander in World War I. Reminiscent of Sousa's "The Thunderer," with its prominent trumpets and drums section, this new edition with updated instrumentation and full score is a welcome addition to the literature for concert band.
