Cape Fear Boulevard

Named after the famed street in Wilmington, North Carolina, Cape Fear Boulevard is a groovy piece for intermediate concert band. Featuring lots of percussion, bluesy melodies, and funky bass lines, Cape Fear Boulevard is remeniscent of the soundtracks of many police and crime televisions shows from the 1970s. Students will love the retro feel of the piece while playing in minor-key and blues harmonies with syncopated rhythms that feature some mixed meter passages.
