Christmas Around the World, Elementary

This addition to this remarkable series of Christmas arrangements is a “starter” book at the elementary level. It features six pieces with the solo part on the right page, and an optional duet part (labeled “Secondo”) on the left page lending either rich harmonies (with pedal), articulate chords, and/or counter melodies playable by the teacher, an older sibling, or another student at the early intermediate level. The solos begin with a couple of arrangements for early elementary students, but most are mid-elementary, with eighth notes and some hands together playing. (Elementary)
