An eagerly anticipated arrangement of the popular SATB work, Patterson's "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear" for treble chorus and piano includes a shimmering accompaniment while the choir sings original music in G Minor that perfectly illustrates the "solemn stillness [of the] weary world." Ending in a uplifting spirit, the final verse is a glorious arrangement in B-flat Major of the traditional tune.
