Written to evoke the regal power of a kingly court in the 17th century,
Majesty offers the perfect introduction to Baroque style. The piece utilizes
melodic passages shared among all sections to help focus on blend,
intonation, and tonal color. 3/4 meter allows students to practice a heavylight-
light bowing articulation. G Major. 1st Position.
