Mike Carson

Mike Carson is an award-winning composer, arranger, and lyricist, working with both sacred choral music and organ music. He hails from Lehi, Utah, where he graduated from high school as a Sterling Scholar state finalist in music. At Brigham Young University, he studied piano performance and music theory and was principal cellist in the symphony orchestra. Mike enjoyed a 24-year career in the retail print music business and is currently a municipal administrative assistant. He is a former dean of the Utah Valley chapter of the American Guild of Organists and also served as Bonneville District Convener in the Guild. Mike and his wife, Cheryl, live in Lindon, Utah. Together they have 11 children and 16 grandchildren.
