Rebecca Pulju

Rebecca A. Pulju received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her Master’s degree was earned in piano performance at the University of Minnesota in 1988. Rebecca has taught piano to students of all ages and levels since 1985 and has received training in Kindermusik®, a music program designed for newborns through age seven and their parents. Since 1994 she has run her own Kindermusik® program in the Twin Cities area. As Kindermusik® is a program based on the Kodály, Orff, and Dalcroze methods of teaching music to children, she has pursued training in each of these as well. She has earned three levels of Kodály, three levels of Orff-Schulwerk, and some Dalcroze training through the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. Rebecca also directs a children’s choir for four and five year olds at her church. She has enjoyed composing music since early in college. She resides in Bloomington, Minnesota with her husband Jon.
