Vincent Cassotta
Mr. Cassotta received his B.A. in Jazz Studies from Westfield State College in Westfield, MA and his M.S. in Music Education from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT. In addition, he completed undergraduate coursework at the Hartt School of Music in Hartford, CT.
Mr. Cassotta has been teaching music at the elementary and secondary levels since 1986 in the Enfield Connecticut Public School system. As a high school band director, his ensembles received several awards, including being a finalist at The Berklee Jazz Festival in Boston. Mr. Cassotta was the founder and director of the Enfield Community Jazz Ensemble. He currently teaches elementary instrumental and general music in Enfield.
Mr. Cassotta is an active member of ASCAP, NEA, and the American Federation of Musicians.
