Daniel Nelson
Daniel C. Nelson is a native of Longmont, Colorado. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sacred Music from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, and a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Pedagogy from Indiana University. Following two years of doctoral study at Indiana University, Mr. Nelson served as the Director of Choral Activities at Montana State University, then as Professor of Voice at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His compositions have been published by Concordia, Morningstar, GIA Publications, Paraclete Press, Emerson Music and Kjos Music. He is now retired and lives in Walnut Creek, California, where he continues his life-long interest in conducting and composing.
