John Jost

John Jost has been Director of Choral Activities at Bradley University since 1989. He also plays violin and viola in the Peoria Symphony and co-directs the Peoria Bach Festival. Dr. Jost received his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees from Stanford University. Before joining the Bradley faculty, he taught instrumental music in Port-au- Prince, Haiti, served as a church music director in the San Francisco Bay area, and taught at Houghton College in New York. He returns to Haiti each summer to direct a music program for Haitian youth.
