Linda Cable Shute

Linda Cable Shute serves as Associate Minister of Music at Catholic Church of St. Ann, a 15,000-member parish in suburban Atlanta. She has previously been organist/choirmaster in varied denominations throughout the southeast, and has many octavos, hymn tunes, psalter and hymn accompaniments published.

Her postgraduate studies include composition with Alice Parker (Westminster Choir College) and Richard Proulx (St. John’s University, MN), and conducting with Melanie Jacobson (Westminster Choir College) and Eric Nelson (Emory University). She earned an undergraduate degree in piano performance at Queens College in Charlotte.
