Mark Albrecht
Mark Albrecht is Musical Director and Organist at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (West Allis, Wisconsin) where he writes for the 45-voice Senior Choir, Gothic Brass (quintet), and Victorian Winds ensembles. In addition, he teaches piano and is a sales representative for Robin II, a manufacturer of custom-shaped packaging materials in the Wisconsin area.
Besides liturgical choral works, Mark has music published for organ, handbells, brass quintet, and woodwinds by various publishers.
He grew up in Racine, Wisconsin and began music lessons on the clarinet. Piano finally became the primary instrument that he studied at Augustana College and then at the University of Arizona where he earned a Master's degree in performance.
Additional studies in organ provided a pathway to church work. Rather than the church being a place to work, Mark calls it a musical playground where he continually uses the many resources to write and arrange for all of the musical groups at Holy Trinity.
