POTOMAC FESTIVAL OVERTURE
Potomac Festival Overture reflects the dignity of the nation's capitol while celebrating the enthusiasm of youth. Set in ternary form, the work begins majestically with a solemn processional-type march. The middle section is, by contrast, joyful and exuberant. The work then returns to the procession before ending with a brief musical burst of enthusiasm.
