Baroque Spanish composer Gaspar Sanz (1640-1710) wrote a wealth of music for guitar. Two pieces, Rujero and Paradetas, come from his solo guitar output and have been superbly arranged into a single work for middle school orchestras. This music is a wonderful vehicle to introduce Baroque music from Spain and students will surely enjoy performing this arrangement.
