Suite española, No. 1, Op. 47, Movement III: Sevillanas

The Sevillanas movement is part of Suite española originally composed for piano solo. It is based on a Castilian folk dance from the 15th century. Sevillanas are festival dances, danced with partners during times of celebrations. This arrangement requires students to have a solid command of flats, sharps, accidentals, some chromaticism, and at a brisk tempo. Key changes throughout.
