This piece is great fun – and a terrific way to introduce your concert band to swing-style jazz! Adding finger snaps and rhythmic whisperings of “jazz” as indicated will invigorate your performers and your audience. “Blue” notes and flatted sevenths offer younger students a new and exciting (yet accessible) harmonic language.
