My Conductor Score refersto the "Interactive Teacher Studio." Where do I find that?

Kjos Music has merged the ITS with the IPS into a single, more powerful platform. Entering an ITS code into the IPS will now give you complete access to all the features originally included in the ITS.

How do I get the IPS software?

To download the software, click here, and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation. The IPS software is available for both Mac and Windows desktop or laptop computers, and as well as Apple and Android mobile devices (including Chromebooks). 

I have a book with an IPS or ITS User License Code. How do I use it to access the software?

Where do I find my User License Code needed to access the IPS?

A 16-digit User License Code is found on the inside front or back cover of many Kjos publications. Codes may also be purchased by teachers or school administrators in bulk by clicking here.

My User License Code isn't working; what should I do?

Sometimes in the printed codes, the number "zero" looks like the letter "O." When entering your code, be sure to use the number "zero".

Why does the IPS stay on the loading screen, won't load, or crashes before opening?

These problems usually stem from an issue with a firewall not allowing certain websites, typically on school networks. Please open up your browser and point it to the following links:

If your browser says that you are blocked or are denied access to any of these (possibly all of them), please talk to your IT Department to have them allow access to these sites (the full sites and not just these specific paths) and you should have no further problems.

If a page opens or there is indication of a successful connection, your network is NOT blocking the IPS, and the problem may be related to your device or something else. Click here for further assistance.

How do I add a new book to the IPS?

If you have an IPS User License Code...

What do I do when an IPS ebook expires?

What are the system requirements to use the IPS?

Desktop or Laptop Computer

    • Mac–OSX 10.13 or newer (64-bit operating system)
    • Windows 7, 8, 10, 11, (64-bit operating system)
    • 1.6Ghz or greater (Dual Core Processor recommended)
    • 1GB of RAM (2GB RAM suggested)
    • 1024 x 768 suggestted minimum screen resolution

What can I do to improve my audio recording quality?

If you are experiencing poor quality on your recordings (e.g. echoes, delays, etc.), try using an external microphone and/or headphones when recording. While built-in mics and speakers will work, there is generally lot of audio bleed, especially in laptops and mobile devices where the microphone is placed close to the speakers. 

If the sound is overdriven or distorted, run the “Microphone Check” and make sure your levels are ok. You should aim to have level in the middle/top-middle of the meter. 

When working with PDF worksheets and documentshow do I save my answers?

Sometimes, you must save the PDF to your hard drive and then make your changes before they will save. 

When using this method, save the PDF from your browser window and then proceed to fill it in. Everything should now save as expected. 

The IPS won’t send e-mails from my .Mac or .Me account. How can I correct this?

This is most likely due to some recent changes to iCloud. Please update your software to the latest version as advised by Apple.
